Messengers:
SCBO Churches, remember to elect designated 'Messengers' to represent your church during the business sessions of the SCBO Annual Meeting. Elected Messengers can participate in discussions and vote on any matters brought to the Convention. Please download and use the 'Messenger Card' below.
Resolutions:
Please submit a written draft of any potential resolutions to the address resolutions@scbo.org no later than November 1, 2022. These submissions will be reviewed and revised by the SCBO Resolutions Committee for possible presentation to the convention body during the Annual Meeting.
The State Convention of Baptists in Ohio often votes to approve "Resolutions" as part of the annual meeting. These non-binding statements are used to express the Convention's ideological view on a given subject - often adding perspective to a current topic of public interest or national debate.
Budget:
On November 3 the SCBO Mission Council approved the proposed 2022-23 SCBO Budget for presentation at the Annual Meeting. A detailed copy of that proposal is available here for your review. Click the button below to download.
If you have any questions regarding the SCBO budget, please feel free to reach out via email to SCBO Chief Financial Administrator Kevin Heaton at kheaton@scbo.org.
