MISSIONS MIX kits provide an opportunity for kids to learn about and experience missions.  These kits can be used in a variety of situations (Sunday School, children’s church) and may help churches introduce Missions Education into their curriculum.  They may be especially helpful in the summer, while other programs are not in session.

Missions Mix kits will be available for check-out from Women’s Missions & Ministries and will include the lesson plans and materials (with the exception of food items) needed to teach 30-90 minutes on a given missions topic or people group.  Several copies of each kit will be available.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?  Each Missions Mix kit will include some or all of the following...
  -
lesson guide with a variety of hands-on activities incorporating drama, music, cooking,
    language, sports and art
  - gospel presentation (shared as it might be on the mission field
  -
genuine or replica cultural items (tools, toys, clothing)
  - recipes and shopping ideas to create authentic foods
  - opportunity for kids to be involved in missions
  - pre and post activities and ideas to extend the experience.

...and will be packaged in a way that corresponds with the topic (this may include steamer trunks, duffle bags, brief cases and tool boxes).  Kids involved will receive passports and maps that may be used to track their Missions Mix experiences.

Watch this site for these materials to be available soon!
