Roger Baxter Homegoing
BAXTER, Roger age 82, went home to the Lord peacefully Sunday, August 22, 2010 at VITAS Hospice. Roger served as State Coordinator of Chaplaincy for the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, Disaster Relief and Buckeye Baptist Builders of Ohio, assisting in disaster relief as far as New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Roger was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, providing guidance and love until the end.
His family under the care of Meyer & Boehmer & Reis Funeral Home, 1733 Brown St. Dayton, will receive his friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at First Baptist Church of West Carrollton at 705 S. Elm St., West Carrollton, Ohio. The funeral will be at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 11AM.
