Press toward the Mark

Mission Ohio is the cooperative effort of Southern Baptists to reach 1,000,000 believers in 2,020 congregations by the end of 2020.  Strengthening and starting congregations have contributed greatly to the cooperative effort of Mission Ohio. 

Since the beginning of the Mission Ohio emphasis, new congregations account for 27% of the more than 700 Ohio Southern Baptist congregations.  These new congregations contributed 27% of the total baptisms reported in the last annual church profile.

The North American Mission Board has partnered with Mission Ohio in a very effective manner.  We are very grateful for the valuable assistance supplied by NAMB. 

NAMB has initiated the Send North America strategy which includes Ohio.  Kevin Ezell has chosen to focus on three cities: Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.  Send 3C joins the other Send Cities of North America.

We welcome the assistance of Send 3C from the North American Mission Board.  Moreover, we appreciate the continued partnership of the North American Mission Board in reaching all of Ohio. 

Mission Ohio remains committed to assisting Southern Baptist churches and associations in sharing the gospel with all the lost in Ohio.  Millions of lost people live in Ohio.  This is our responsibility.  Let’s press toward that mark.
