Homegoing of Jo Ann Caldwell Wife of Pastor Rudy Caldwell

Jo Ann (Bandy) Caldwell, 74, of Ashville, OH went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2011 at Berger Hospital after a long battle with cancer.  Because her heart was so full of love for the Lord, she earned a Doctorate Degree in Christian education from Country View College of the Bible.  Jo Ann was a member of the Country View Baptist Church in Galloway, OH where her husband Rudy was pastor for 21 years.  She retired from General Electric and later retired from the Teays Valley School District in 2002 after 26 years of service.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Mary (Pennington) Bandy and her brother Fred.  Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 51 years Dr. Rudy Caldwell, sisters Mary L. Cremeans and Linda (Art) Taylor of Circleville, OH, brothers George (Bonnie) Bandy of Circleville and Clarence (Donna) Bandy of Ashville, OH along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home in Ashville, OH with Dr. Ralph Short officiating.  Burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.  Her family requests that memorial contributions may be made in her name to Berger Hospice or Pickaway Senior Center.  Online condolences may be sent to www.WellmanFuneralHomes.com.
