Homegoing Earl Castle: Father of Pastor Brett Castle Maize Road Baptist Church in Columbus

Earl Donaldson Castle, age 74, of Columbus, Ohio died Thursday April 21, 2011.  He was born January 22, 1937 in Virgie, KY to the late Earl and Vada (Newsome) Castle.  Brother Castle was a member of Maize Road Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School, and his son Brett is pastor.  He loved his Lord and his family.

Brother Castle was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. He is survived by Betty his loving wife of fifty-five years, two sons Brett (Jan) and Brian, four grandsons Ryan (Melissa), Adam, Ben and Aryn, two beautiful granddaughters Arianna and Emma, one sister and one brother, other extended family members and special friends.  

His family will receive friends Monday April 25 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the North Chapel of the Schoedinger Funeral Home which is located at 5554 Karl Rd. in Columbus, OH.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday April 26 at 11:00 A.M at the North Chapel of the Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Tufts officiating.
