Seven popular books by O.S. Hawkins available for free download to Kindle e-readers

DALLAS — GuideStone has made seven of GuideStone President O.S. Hawkins’ books available for free download to Kindle e-readers.
The titles available include:
- Antology, a 2007 book that examines Proverbs 6:6-8 (go to the ant… consider her ways and be wise) and applies it to the principles of financial stewardship;
- Drawing the Net, a 2002 book that explores 30 practical principles for extending the invitation to the Good News publicly as well as personally;
- Getting Down to Brass Tacks, a 1997 book that was updated in 2010, it explores the book of James and the real-world advice it provides for modern Christians;
- GuideStones: Ancient Landmarks of Authenticity for the 21st Century Church, a 2005 book that explores four guidestones established by the early church to provide direction to churches as we seek to nurture the growth of healthy churches;
- High Calling, High Anxiety, a 2003 book that looks at advice from the book of James for managing stress in ministry;
- More Good News for Great Days, a 2008 book that offers messages for major American holidays, including Palm Sunday, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day and Christmas Eve; and
- The Pastor’s Primer, a 2009 book that reflects on practical issues pastors face, gleaned during Dr. Hawkins’ quarter-century of pastoral ministry.
To download any of these titles free to a Kindle e-reader, simply visit GuideStone’s website, www.GuideStone.org/MinistryTools/OnlineBooks.aspx, and click on the title to download. A modal window will open and users select the Kindle format. Once the Kindle format is selected, simply save the .mobi file to the computer, and connect the Kindle to the computer to upload the file to the e-reader.
