As the youngest of five children, I was raised in a Christian home in Illinois, that I left at age 18 and began a journey that was filled with more self-destruction than I ever intended. I made decisions that led me farther away from God than I could have imagined, and sent myself down roads full of bumps, twists, turns and forks in the road in which I managed to almost always choose the wrong one. My sinful rebellion made me feel as if I was no longer worthy to be called His child; I had become the prodigal daughter.
Through the grace and mercy of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I learned that our pasts do not have to predict our futures, and that there is no "Christian Woman Mold" we need to fit into to be saved by His love and compassion. The Lord has blessed me abundantly with a fresh lease on life, an amazing husband, Chad, and two precious teenage boys, Clayton & Brice. It is my desire, through biblical teaching and practical application, to guide women through His redemptive Word and to help lead them to a closer walk with Christ.
"For it is by grace you have been saved." Ephesians 2:8
