Soul Winning Strategies for Personal & Churchwide Evanglism

Witnessing Tools your Church Should Not be Without!

Why use multiple entry points?  There is no single CONTEXT((We must see the DIFFERENCE with the eyes and heart of GOD)

  • There is no single LOCATION on which to focus
  • There is no single METHOD

An individual desiring to be a strong witness of Jesus must always be FLEXIBLE and remain sensitive to the process of RELATIONAL BRIDGE BUILDING and INTENTIONAL witnessing. No matter how long one relates or builds bridges, they must always challenge the lost with the GOOD NEWS verbally.  Scripture teaches, how will they hear without a sharer of the GOOD NEWS? (taken from Romans 10:14)

REMEMBER: The Holy Spirit is at work in the life of a witness preparing them to share.  (Acts 1:8)

 1. The ones you to whom you are teaching the principles of witnessing will have as an audience:

  • Different personalities
  • Different lengths of time having been a believer
  • Different learning styles
  • Different educational levels
  • Different ages
  • Different cultures
  • Different lifestyles and backgrounds
  •  Different lengths of time in which to share (gain permission to share)
  •  Different types of people they will encounter (learning to be sensitive to the hearer)
  • Different personal strengths

2. Just as there will be different types of people you will be teaching, there will be different types of people HEARING THE GOSPEL.  Remember: The Holy Spirit is at work in the lost person’s life long before the witness occurs. (John 16:8) The listeners will have:

  • Different personalities
  • Different learning styles
  • Different educational levels
  • Different ages
  • Different lifestyles and backgrounds
  • Different lengths of time they will give permission to share
  • Different weaknesses (point of NEED)
  • Different settings

Because of these differences, a basic principle to always remember:  be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
