Ohio Disaster Relief

The State Convention of Baptists in Ohio Disaster Relief Ministry responds to disasters in Ohio and cooperates with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief responses across North America and around the world. Resource funding for this volunteer-based ministry comes primarily from Southern Baptist churches through the Cooperative Mission Program, the Ray Roberts State Mission Offering, and donations from compassionate individuals and organizations who desire to help people in need.

This ministry, which began in January, 1986 with the establishment of the Food Service Unit, has since grown to include many more ministries. Our teams are made up of specifically trained volunteers who give of their time and talents to serve Christ in a crisis.
