Steps and Requirements for Becoming a Funded Church Planter for the Ohio State Convention

1.  Pray.  Then pray some more.

2.  Contact the Ohio Church Planting Resource Group:

3.  An appointment will be set up with a State Church Planting Leader or the local Associational Missionary/Church Planting Catalyst in the area where you are interested.

4.  If all agree to proceed, then a date for a formal church planter assessment will be arranged.

5.  If the assessment comes back positive then processing the candidate with the State Convention and North American Mission Board can be started.  This is done in cooperation with the local Associational Missionary/Church Planting Catalyst.

6.  All Ohio SBC church planter candidates must meet the requirements set forth by the North American Mission Board and the State Convention and sign off on these agreements.
