2010 New Church Starts
25 New Churches and 3 New Affiliations were added to the total number of Southern Baptist Churches in Ohio in the church year 2010. Following is a list of the new starts by Association:
Buckeye Central Erie added Rittman Baptist Chapel, Kingdom Church in Mt. Vernon, Cardington Baptist Mission, and Living Stone Community Church in Willard.
Greater Cincinnati added Heritage Church in Mason, The Bridge Church in Cincinnati, and Providence Fellowship in Westchester.
Greater Cleveland added Alive Church in Garfield Heights, and First Baptist Church of Berea affiliated with this Association.
Greater Dayton added North Valley Baptist Church in Brookville.
Metro Columbus added New Albany Church, Covenant Church in Grove City, and Faithway in Columbus.
Miami Valley added Covenant Life Baptist Church in Middletown.
Muskingum Valley added Urichsville Mission, Dover Teplo Bautista, and Tabor Ridge Community Church in New Philadelphia affiliated with this Association.
Northcoast Association added Lorain Central Baptist Church, and East Sandusky Baptist Mission.
Northwest added Journey Church in Toledo.
Grace Missionary Baptist in Norwood affiliated with Ohio Valley Association.
Southern Hills added New Beginnings Baptist Church in Greenfield and Urbancrest Mission in Lebanon.
Southwestern added Disciples Church in Hamilton.
Steel Valley added Log Cabin Ministries in Austintown, East Madision Mission and Ashtabula Mission.
Summit Association added Lao Baptist Mission in Akron.
We praise the Lord for these new churches and for the new believers these churches represent! Our prayer and our hope is to start even more in the year 2011. There are untold numbers of lost souls in Ohio and untold numbers of communities that have no Gospel-preaching church. We have to keep pressing on. YOU CAN HELP!
